Senior Teaching Assistant / Teaching Assistant Vacancies

TEMPORARY PART-TIME SENIOR TEACHING ASSISTANT - attached to one pupil, required for immediate start.

Salary:  PCD7(A) £20,661 PER ANNUM PRO RATA (21 hours per week) Term time only

The school wishes to appoint a temporary Senior Teaching Assistant to provide 1-1 support to a named pupil in line with school SEND needs.

 

The postholder will need to be:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • experienced of supporting children with additional SEND needs
  • an enthusiastic, committed and successful practitioner
  • able to work independently using own initiative
  • sensitive to the needs of pupils and able to motivate and enthuse learning
  • able to work responsibly within a team
  • support the ethos of the school

There is the opportunity to take on additional hours as midday supervisor for 2.5 hours per week.

TEMPORARY PART-TIME TEACHING ASSISTANT - to provide general classroom support within a mixed-age KS2 class, required for immediate start

Salary:  PCD5(A) £17,419 PER ANNUM PRO RATA (22 hours per week) Term time only

The school wishes to appoint a teaching assistant to support pupils in our mixed-age KS2 class.  The successful applicant will perform a range of duties in supporting the class teacher to deliver exciting and engaging lessons as part of our creative, outdoor-focused curriculum.

The postholder will need to be:

  • experienced of supporting children in KS2
  • an enthusiastic, committed and successful practitioner
  • able to work independently using own initiative
  • Sensitive to the needs of pupils and able to motivate and enthuse learning
  • able to work responsibly within a team
  • support the ethos of the school
